Who we are

Information you give us
When you submit our consultation form, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, where you are looking to build, your project stage, and any message you write. We ask for these so we can call you back and have a useful first conversation. We do not ask for sensitive personal or financial information through this site, and you should not send it to us through this form.
Information collected automatically
We use Google Analytics to understand how this site is used — which pages people visit, how they arrived, roughly where in the world they are, and what kind of device and browser they use. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects your IP address, which it uses to approximate your location. We look at this information in aggregate to improve the site. We do not use it to try to identify you personally, and we do not run third-party advertising or retargeting trackers on this site.
How we use your information
We use the details you submit only to respond to your inquiry and to plan a useful first conversation about your project. A member of our family follows up with you directly. We do not add you to a marketing list or send you newsletters, and we do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.
How we share it
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. Consultation form submissions are delivered to our company email inbox, which means they pass through our website host and our email provider in the ordinary course of being delivered to us. Site usage data is processed by Google as described above. We do not use a customer relationship management (CRM) system, so your inquiry is not loaded into any third-party sales platform. Beyond this, we share your information only where the law requires it.
Cookies
The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics and are used to measure site usage, as described above. We do not use cookies for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google's browser opt-out add-on. The site works normally either way. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting; there is no common industry standard for honoring it, so we do not currently respond to those signals.
How long we keep it
We keep consultation inquiries in our email for as long as we may reasonably need them for the project or conversation they relate to, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Google Analytics retains site usage data according to the retention period set on our account. You can ask us to delete your inquiry at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information you have shared, or ask a question about how we handle it, by emailing info@jldevelopmentgroupinc.com. We will respond as promptly as we can. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under applicable law, and we honor those requests regardless of where you are.
Children
This site is intended for adults considering a custom home. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection, and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send us confidential financial or identity documents through this form.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if we change how the contact form is delivered or which analytics tools we use. The date above reflects the most recent revision.
